WR at the Canine Carnival

Wanderers’ Rest is so excited to once again be part of the Canine Carnival – Saturday, September 30th from 10-3pm at Jamesville Beach. We will be there with information about WR: adopting, fostering and ways to donate and volunteer. And you’ll also see some of our adorable adoptables!

This annual event features hundreds of animals for adoption from dogs and cats to horses, animal demonstrations, horse carriage rides, a Red Cross Blood Drive, Food, Music and back by popular demand, our Sports and Kids Zone with central NY sports teams. It will be held rain or shine. The Canine Carnival will also feature dog washing & grooming, Spay & Neuter Syracuse (SANS) will again offer micro-chipping for your pet. Veterinary Medical Center of CNY will have an emergency triage center on site for your pets.
All dogs must be on a short leash at all times within the Canine Carnival area.Proceeds from the Canine Carnival go to the Priscilla Mahar Animal Welfare Foundation.

2017’s Carnival will take place at Jamesville Beach Park, it’s usual location, on September 30th!
