Dr. Kolb is a veterinarian and partner at the Cazenovia and Hamilton Animal Hospitals. Originally from Rochester, NY, he has been a central NY resident since he received his degree from the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in1984. He is father to three daughters and husband to Dr. Joan Graulich Kolb, also a veterinarian. Dr. Kolb has been involved with Wanderers’ Rest for over 30 years and has been a board member for over 15 years. He is a board member because he believes that the mission of Wanderers’ Rest is both right and good, and that the shelter fulfills an important and necessary role in our community. The welfare and humane treatment of animals is a fundamental obligation of every veterinarian. When Dr. Kolb is not being a veterinarian or board member, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, activities on and in the water, church involvement, as well as the study and teaching of the Bible.
