SPAY AND NEUTER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM IS ON HOLD INDEFINITELY AS ALL FUNDS HAVE BEEN UTILIZED, PLEASE CHECK BACK AT A LATER DATE.
Wanderers’ Rest Humane Association is able to assist low-income individuals and families in Madison County spay or neuter their pets (cats and dogs only) thanks to funds from the ASPCA. Individuals may apply for assistance with more than one pet. Vouchers will only be valid for 30 days after approval, no extensions will be granted. To ensure your application is approved and processed in a timely manner be sure to fill out and submit both the Spay/Neuter Assistance Application and Self-Attestation Income Application.

- Be at least 6 months of age

Cost for Canine or Feline Spay/Neuter
The spay or neuter procedure will not be done at Wanderers’ Rest Humane Association. Wanderers’ Rest Humane Association will cover a 100% of the cost for the spay or neuter procedure including a pre-surgical exam and pre/post op pain medication. *Pet owners will be responsible for ensuring the pet is current on all needed vaccinations, diagnostics, and exams. Vaccine and exam pricing will vary depending on the veterinary hospital or clinic.
