WRHA Fall Fundraiser Competition

Help the Wanderers’ Rest Staff/Volunteers OR Board of Directors Win by Joining their Team
Wanderers’ Rest Humane Association is announcing a friendly competition between the board members and the combined staff/volunteers to see who can raise the most donations throughout the month of October!
What: Staff/Volunteers vs Board of Directors
When: The entire month of October
Why: To help provide the best care possible for the animals. It costs approximately $450,000 a year to maintain this quality of care and to cover general operational costs, even including volunteer hours.
Where: You can donate online, over the phone, or in person at the shelter

- Once on the page, click DONATE, then choose the team you want to donate towards.
- If you want to help one of the teams win, you can join their team and collect your own donations for them. Just click Join Team, fill out your information, and select the team you want to join. Then start collecting!
Winner: The winning team will get to smash pies in the faces of the losing team (with video available for all to see)
More about WRHA and the Fundraiser:
WRHA is Madison County’s sole dog and cat animal shelter and relies heavily on donations for all operational expenses and to properly care for the hundreds of dogs and cats that enter our shelter every year. In addition to providing a safe refuge and finding forever homes for over 230 dogs and cats so far this year, Wanderers’ Rest has many ongoing needs to fulfill by the end of the year and exciting future projects planned to improve and enhance the lives of animals in the shelter and the community.
Helping every animal find a new forever home requires heavier medical expenses, increased cost of general care, and more time to work with the animals, including providing enrichment. Your help will allow us to continue to provide this excellent care and will aid with future improvements. All donations are much appreciated.
